OK so how to start looking at the role of the TL in ILSC..........I think before the role can be critically evaluated, ideas about information literacy and the school community itself must first be defined.
Why? hmmm this is quite obvious because of the indefinite nature of information literacy as a term and as a concept, and because all schools are different.
Schools and school communities are as individual as the students who are found in them. This is where communication is key. Communication which spans formats and stretches out clearly throughout the community. WHO in the community? Teachers, executives and TLs work collaboratively to achieve similar outcomes based on a shared understanding of needs, wants and skills.
