IL models
So...... all three models are based on assumptions about what information literacy is, the steps information seekers should take and the key skills involved. AHA! They are all based on research findings and literature reviews and designed to inform the instruction and development of information literacy. The Big6 focuses on six skills which include directive sub-stages; the NSW model involves a series of physical and intellectual steps tied with information skills objectives; the ISP identifies the thoughts and feelings associated with strategies and actions.
